Krystle Prudhomme

K. Prudhomme

Hello fabulous JES students and parents! My name is Ms. Prudhomme and this year I’m going to be your Master Teacher. This will be my fourth year teaching at JES.

“What’s a Master Teacher?” you might ask. It’s just a really fancy name for a Coach. Every school needs one. Imagine the teachers, students, and parents are my team. As a coach, I encourage them and give strategies/tools to reach their goals. I look forward to helping each of your children reach their goals.

This is my fourteenth year teaching! I have a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and I love learning about new strategies/tools to help teachers better reach ALL students. I could literally teach all day! I can’t wait to help your children become a better reader and expose them to lots of new reading and math adventures.

I grew up in the “zydeco capital of the world”, Opelousas, Louisiana, and I love to go home and visit often. My mom and younger brother still live there.

This summer, I found out I’m expecting a baby! A boy? A girl? Who knows... But I can’t wait to find out in February 2019.

I’m also looking forward to spending 2018-2019 school year learning and growing with you and your children at JES.
